Our Commercial Approach

Three workers in safety gear standing and talking at an industrial oil refinery during sunset.

What this means commercially

You are paying for content, tools, and deployment support — not for a team of people to sit in your conference room for eighteen months building something we already have. Our job is to get your workforce executing on best practice as fast as possible and then get out of the way.

We are not for everyone

If you want a bespoke, from-scratch program because you believe your plant is fundamentally different from every other plant running the same equipment — we’re not your company. If you want a maintenance-only initiative that ignores how operations creates half your equipment failures — we’ll tell you that’s not going to work. If you want a small, safe project that checks a box but doesn’t change how your plant actually runs — that’s not what we do.

We work with plants that are ready to deploy a complete system, hold operations and maintenance jointly accountable for equipment reliability, and commit to execution over analysis. The problems are solved. The question is whether your organization is ready to act on what it already knows.

We started SamOS because we were tired of being part of the problem.

Every one of us came from operations and maintenance leadership — general managers, operations managers, reliability managers, maintenance managers — before becoming consultants. We went into consulting to make a bigger impact. What we found was an industry built to sell studies, staff junior teams, and reinvent solved problems on the client’s dime.

We quit that model.

SamOS exists because the knowledge already exists. The failure modes are documented. The strategies are proven. We are not charging you to rediscover what the industry has known for decades. We built it into products so your people can execute — not so our people can bill.

We are not PE-backed. We are not building to a “liquidity event”…

we want to earn a living by making an impact and gaining respect. Our focus is on maintenance, not maneuvering
